In a poignant tribute to the indomitable spirit of Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, and Sukhdev, Rama Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital observed "Martyrs' Day" on Thursday, March 23, 2023. The solemn event took place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Lecture Hall-2, 2nd Floor.
The program kicked off with the lighting of the lamp by the esteemed chief guest, Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar of Rama University, Mandhana Kanpur. Among the attendees were Principal (in-charge) Dr. Soni Verma (Associate Professor) and other dedicated faculty members, including Dr. Anil Singh (DMS), Dr. Ranjna Vyas (Assistant Professor), Dr. Santosh Kumar (Assistant Professor), Dr. Rajesh Pal (Consultant), Dr. Ragini Tiwari (Assistant Professor/Consultant), and BAMS students of Ayurveda.
The atmosphere was charged with reverence as the program commenced with Dhanvantari Vandana and soulful renditions by Anushka Sachan, Anupama, Pallavi, Akanksha, students of the batch 2022-2023. Anushka Sachan, from the same batch, skillfully anchored the program, adding a personal touch to the proceedings. The emotional connection deepened with a heartfelt short play performed by Gargi and Group (Akanksha, Shivangi, Mukesh Chandra, Ranjit Kumar).
The highlight of the event was a speech on the life of Bhagat Singh. The Chief Guest, Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, captivated the audience with his insightful knowledge. He shed light on the significance of Martyrs' Day, narrated the life story of Bhagat Singh, and highlighted his sharp intellect and alertness from a young age. Bhagat Singh's sacrifice at the tender age of 23 left an indelible mark on history, making him an enduring inspiration for the youth.
In his motivational address, Mr. Prabhat Ranjan encouraged the students, emphasizing Bhagat Singh's impact as a freedom fighter and a symbol of courage. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Soni Verma, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, faculty members, and participants for contributing to the success of the program.
